Quick Overview

A worn chain does not move smoothly and wears out sprocket more quickly. A poorly maintained chain may result in sudden breakages.
This tool has been designed to indicate state of wear and shows whether chain has been subjected to elongation to such an extent as to require replacement.

Features:
• Suitable for checking chain elongation with "passes/does not pass" system
• 0% ÷ 0.75% chain does not need to be replaced
• 0.8% ÷ 1% chain needs to be replaced
• A worn chain makes poor shifting and accelerates sprocket wear
