Unlike generic stainless steel (AISI 304), stainless steel AISI 316 gives Robur terminals greater resistance to atmospheric agents.

Excellent corrosion protection over time and high mechanical resistance are guaranteed by the quality of the steel used, due to the addition of valuable alloying elements (Chrome, Nickel and Molybdenum).

Characteristics#

CORROSION AND LOW TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE

ROBUR stainless steel contains high percentages of Chromium, Nickel and Molybdenum, which in outdoor applications, in particularly aggressive environments, provide greater resistance to corrosion and the possibility of use at low temperatures (-20°C).

MINIMUM MAINTENANCE

Ease of cleaning, excellent hygiene coefficient, non-magnetic characteristics and mechanical performance at low temperatures are other features that distinguish AISI 316 steel.

RELIABILITY OVER TIME

Homogenous and consistent quality over time ensures the same performance levels for all production batches.
